Registration:

We are excited for another season of CYO basketball. Registration will open Monday, August 14th at 9:00 am and will close Thursday, August 31st at 7:00 pm. Late registration requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We request that you be prompt in signing up as some grades do fill up and additional registrants will be put on the waitlist.

Evaluations:

The girls’ division will hold evaluations on Sunday, September 10th at Tice Valley Gymnasium. The boys’ division will hold evaluations one week later on Sunday, September 17th, also at Tice Valley. The day of schedule for each evaluation will be communicated prior to the date. A makeup date for evaluations has yet to be determined. Evaluations are an important part of the process as they determine who qualifies for the American team in each grade, and it also helps coaches create skill-balanced national teams for more competitive and fair play.

Uniforms:

Returning families may use their existing uniforms but be sure they still fit as kids grow fast over the summer. New families will need to purchase uniforms and more information will be sent out after the registration and evaluation process is complete.

Please spread the word to any incoming 3rd grade or families new to Lafayette that you may know. Or contact list is only as good as those families that participated last year, so please share this information to build our Panther CYO community!
