Assistant coaches help the head coach at one practice each week (Tues or Thurs). They will typically be responsible for a single station (sprints, relays, long jump) and will help the kids with technique and form. Track experience is not required but it doesn't hurt.

The Jump Coach will run the long jump pit at practices and help kids with jump technique and jump strategy.

The Distance Coach will help distance runners with endurance training and race strategy. The Distance Coach will lead our weekly reservoir runs on Wednesdays.

• Order t-shirts, hats and pullovers for meet captains and coaches
• Take inventory at beginning of season and order additional uniforms and/or equipment if necessary
• Schedule uniform days to hand out equipment
• Track all uniforms going in/out
• Bring extra spikes and uniforms to meets

Meet Directors coordinate our team activities and responsibilities at the meets. The job includes...

• Facilitate our volunteer responsibilities at each meet
• When we host a meet, the Meet Directors coordinate the start/finish line and all stations.
• Assist the relay coordinator
• Direct kids to their events
• Stay to the end of the meet

This job is responsible for set-up and take down of our meet station. The job is shared by 2 volunteers. You must have a large SUV or truck for this duty. Job duties include...

• Arriving early and setting up our tent and team station.
• Keeping our supplies fully stocked at meets
• Breaking down the tent at the end of each meet and bringing all of our equipment home.

This job is responsible for collecting and distributing ribbons and medals throughout the season. This job runs through the Diocese meet. Job duties include…

• Prepare our ribbons box (file system) by adding a folder for each athlete
• Pick up ribbons after each meet in Concord and organize in our ribbons box
• Bring the box to/from each meet and set it up at our hospitality station
• Bring the box to/from our end of year social
• Mail out any remaining ribbons and medals

The Relay Coach/Coordinator is responsible for assembling our relay teams at each meet...

• Build relay teams each week based on availability.
• Arrive early for each meet
• Get relay teams together at the start of each meet
• Confirm teams - adjust as necessary
• Fill out relay cards
• Collect batons at the end of each relay race
• Attend the entire relay meet
• Coach relay technique at practice (1x/week)

Our Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating our volunteer responsibilities at each meet. The job duties include

• Handle communication related to volunteer job assignments
• Setting up Signup Genius for every meet
• Follow up with parents who do not sign up for their allotted duties
• Track completion of job duties 

The Social Coordinator is responsible for planning and running our two social events:

• Our season kick-off social before the first meet of the year.
• Our end of season party (including arranging caterer, setting up TeamSnap, etc)
